These last couple of months Suprabit experienced a noticeable increase in the number of employees. Because of the circumstances, we didn’t get the chance to meet all those new faces in person as everyone was working from home. So the best thing to do was to organize a fun team building in nature.
After the democratic elections with a few given options, the decision was made - we're going rafting! On early Saturday morning, we all got together and started our journey towards Brod na Kupi, a small town on the Croatian-Slovenian border. When we came there, we had great fun trying on our wet suits and boots. After we picked up all of the equipment, we sat in the car in wet suits and followed the mini kayak caravan upstream to the start of our water journey. After listening to short instructions, we were ready to jump in the river with our kayaks and immediately started bumping into each other.
The water was really cold but the weather was sunny and actually quite nice. Sadly, the water level was pretty low so we missed out on some great adrenaline rushes, but the important thing was spending quality time together, relaxing, and taking in the beautiful mountain views. We still had so much fun because who wouldn’t laugh while watching your colleagues fall into cold water.
By the time we finished kayaking, we were all pretty hungry, but luckily, there was a delicious lunch waiting for us. We enjoyed local specialties eating fresh food from the Gorski kotar region and finished off with amazing wild berries strudel.
Tired but happy, we headed to Zagreb full of new memories and with tummies full with food.
